What the plugin does

Your own affiliate program for influencers and referrers: every partner gets links and discount codes, the store tracks visits and sales, and commissions and payouts are in one place. Influencers have their own panel in My Account – without access to the WordPress dashboard.

What it does

Influencer account

A partner is a normal user account with the Influencer Affiliate role. In My Account → Affiliates Program they see the tabs Your Links, Your Banners, Your CODE, Your Sales and Withdrawals.

Commissions per partner

Each influencer has their own commission rules: for all products, a category, brand, tag or single product, with excluded products. Commission is calculated on the net order amount, in the order currency. One partner’s rules can be copied to another with one click.

Result: a beauty influencer gets 10% on skincare and 5% on the rest of the store – no manual calculations.

Affiliate links

The Advanced Link Builder in the influencer panel creates a link to the whole shop, a category, brand, tag or product, with a note on where it was shared (e.g. “instagram_post”). Each link shows clicks, orders, sales and commissions. A visit from a link stores the partner in a cookie for the set number of days.

Influencer discount codes

A personal code (a WooCommerce coupon) with a % discount, validity dates and scope: whole shop, categories, brands, products or only the products the partner earns commission on. Sales with the code count for the partner even without a link click. Influencers can request a code in their panel and get an e-mail when you create it. Add in bulk creates occasion codes (e.g. Valentine’s Day) for all influencers at once.

Marketing materials

You add banners and images for Stories and posts from the Media Library. The influencer picks a target (category, brand, tag, product) and copies the ready HTML code or link.

Statistics and payouts

Overview shows referred revenue, commissions, traffic and payout requests. For each influencer you see visits, purchases, conversion rate, sales, amounts paid out and to be paid. Influencers request a payout from the set minimum amount with a chosen method (e.g. invoice, contract, exchange for products); you get an e-mail and change the payout status.

Claim period protection

A commission can be held for a set number of days after the order is completed before it becomes available for withdrawal. A refund or cancellation removes the commission.

Good to know

• A commission shows as “in progress” while the order is processing and becomes available after the Completed status (and the claim period, if enabled).
• When you change a product or category URL, the plugin offers Update Partner Links Now.
• The partner panel can also be placed on any page with the [wia_dashboard] shortcode.
• Works with WPML / WCML – links point to translated products and categories. HPOS and block checkout compatible.

Installation and first settings

Before you start

You need WordPress 6.2 or newer, WooCommerce 8.0+, PHP 7.4+ and an administrator account. Back up your store before installing any new plugin – most hosting panels do it with one button.

Step 1: download the plugin and the licence key

After your order (Pro, or the free 7-day Free version) you get an e-mail with your licence key and a Download button. The key and the file are always available in My account → Licences on wpasist.eu.

1. Click Download and save influencer-affiliates-for-woocommerce.zip on your computer.
2. Do not unzip the file – WordPress installs the plugin straight from the ZIP.

Safari on a Mac may unzip downloads automatically. If you see a folder instead of a ZIP file, compress it again (right-click → Compress) or turn off opening “safe” files after downloading in Safari.

Step 2: install and activate the plugin

1. Log in to your WordPress dashboard (usually yourstore.com/wp-admin).
2. Go to Plugins → Add New Plugin and click Upload Plugin.
3. Choose influencer-affiliates-for-woocommerce.zip and click Install Now.
4. When you see “Plugin installed successfully”, click Activate Plugin.

Result: the left menu now has a wpAsist item with this plugin and the Licences screen.

Step 3: activate the licence

1. Go to wpAsist → Licences.
2. Paste the key from the e-mail next to this plugin and click Activate licence.
3. The status changes to Active until … (the end date of your licence).

Without an active licence new visits from affiliate links are not tracked, the influencer panel is locked and only the Licence tab is available in the dashboard. Discount codes, earned commissions and payouts keep working.

The key works on one domain. If you move the store to another address, change it yourself in My account → Licences → Change domain on wpasist.eu. New versions arrive in the dashboard like any WordPress update (Dashboard → Updates) while the licence is active – your settings are kept.

Step 4: general settings

1. Go to wpAsist → Influencers & Affiliates → Settings.
2. Fill in General Settings:

1. Click Save General Settings.
2. In Payout Methods check the list (e.g. Invoice, Contract, Exchange for Products), add your own with Add Method and click Save.

Step 5: add an influencer

1. In the Influencers tab click Add account (or Search account if the partner already has an account in your store).
2. Give the user the Influencer Affiliate role and save.

Step 6: set commissions

1. Next to the influencer click Edit Profile and scroll to Commission Rules.
2. Add a rule: type (all products, category, brand, tag, product), target and commission in %. For a category or brand you can exclude chosen products.
3. Save the profile. To give the same rates to another person, use Copy Commissions from Another User.

Step 7: create a discount code (optional)

1. Open the Manage codes tab and in Add code choose the influencer.
2. Enter the code, Discount %, scope (Target) and the Valid From / Valid Until dates, then click Create Code.
3. The influencer gets the “Your Discount Code is Ready” e-mail and sees the code in Your CODE.

Step 8: add marketing materials (optional)

In the Marketing Materials tab enter a title, choose a group (Banners, Stories, Post), add an image from the Media Library or an image URL and click Add Medium.

Step 9: check it

1. Sign in as the influencer and open My Account → Affiliates Program → Your Links.
2. Choose a type and item, enter where you will share the link and click Save & Copy.
3. Open the link in a private window and place an order – after the status changes to Completed, the sale and commission appear in Your Sales and in the Overview tab.

Payouts

When an influencer sends a request, you get an e-mail. In the Overview tab, in the Payout Requests table, set the status to In Process, and after the transfer to Completed.
