What the plugin does

A multi-level (MLM) affiliate program for WooCommerce. Every registered customer becomes a partner in a structure tree. A sale through a partner’s link or discount code earns a commission for the partner and for the people above them – by the levels you set.

What it does

Structure tree

At the top is the main account (the company). Every new person is placed under the partner whose link they came from, or under the main account. You can limit the number of people in each partner’s first line and the number of levels down – when the sponsor’s line is full, the new person is placed automatically in the first free spot in their branch.

Levels and commissions

One set of rates for all partners, up to 50 levels:

Commission is calculated from the net order value (after discounts, without VAT and shipping) and stored in the store’s base currency. Orders without a link or code belong to the main account – no commission.

Result: a referrer earns on their own sales and on the sales of the people they invited.

Activity rule (optional)

Only partners who bought something themselves within the last X months earn commissions. After that they have time to reactivate with a purchase. Statuses: Active (earns commissions), Suspended (reactivation time is running – a purchase restores activity) and Lost (permanent). The commission of an inactive partner or an empty level stays with the company. A new account gets the same time for its first purchase.

Every buyer in the structure

Every order creates a customer account (guest checkout is switched off automatically), so every buyer joins the structure. If the e-mail already has an account, the customer sees a clear request to log in or reset the password.

Partner panel

In My Account → Affiliates Program a partner has Your Links (link builder for the shop, a category, brand, tag, product), Your Banners, Your CODE, Your Sales, Team (referral link, sponsor, activity status, people and earnings on every level, an expandable team tree) and Withdrawals.

Managing the structure

The Team tab in the dashboard: a summary (partners, deepest level, lost accounts, level commissions and amounts kept by the company), adding a partner manually, moving a partner with their whole branch, changing the sponsor and a history of the last 50 changes.

Codes, materials, announcements and payouts

Personal partner discount codes (WooCommerce coupons), banners and images for Stories and posts, an announcement for all partners in their panel, and payout requests with a minimum amount, payout methods and claim period protection.

Installation and first settings

Before you start

You need WordPress 6.2 or newer, WooCommerce 8.0+, PHP 7.4+ and an administrator account. Back up your store before installing any new plugin – most hosting panels do it with one button.

Step 1: download the plugin and the licence key

After your order (Pro, or the free 7-day Free version) you get an e-mail with your licence key and a Download button. The key and the file are always available in My account → Licences on wpasist.eu.

1. Click Download and save affiliates-tree.zip on your computer.
2. Do not unzip the file – WordPress installs the plugin straight from the ZIP.

Safari on a Mac may unzip downloads automatically. If you see a folder instead of a ZIP file, compress it again (right-click → Compress) or turn off opening “safe” files after downloading in Safari.

Step 2: install and activate the plugin

1. Log in to your WordPress dashboard (usually yourstore.com/wp-admin).
2. Go to Plugins → Add New Plugin and click Upload Plugin.
3. Choose affiliates-tree.zip and click Install Now.
4. When you see “Plugin installed successfully”, click Activate Plugin.

Result: the left menu now has a wpAsist item with this plugin and the Licences screen.

Step 3: activate the licence

1. Go to wpAsist → Licences.
2. Paste the key from the e-mail next to this plugin and click Activate licence.
3. The status changes to Active until … (the end date of your licence).

Without an active licence new visits from partner links are not tracked and the partner registration form does not work. The structure, commissions from earlier referrals, codes, payouts and partner panels keep working.

The key works on one domain. If you move the store to another address, change it yourself in My account → Licences → Change domain on wpasist.eu. New versions arrive in the dashboard like any WordPress update (Dashboard → Updates) while the licence is active – your settings are kept.

Step 4: set the structure and commissions

Go to wpAsist → Affiliates Tree → Settings, section Program partnerski (MLM) (partner program):

Click Zapisz ustawienia programu (save program settings).

First create a page, e.g. “Join the program”, and add the

shortcode to it. Then choose it as the registration page.

Step 5: payout settings

On the same tab, in General Settings:

1. Cookie Duration (Days) – how many days after clicking a link a purchase counts for the partner, e.g. 30.
2. Minimum Payout Amount – the amount from which a partner can request a payout.
3. Claim Period Protection and Claim Period (Days) – how many days a commission waits after the order is completed.
4. Click Save General Settings, check the list in Payout Methods and click Save.

Step 6: build the structure

• Customers join themselves: via the registration page, from a partner link or with their first order.
• Manually: in the Team tab use Dodaj partnera ręcznie (add partner manually) – enter the e-mail, first and last name, choose the Sponsor and Miejsce w strukturze (placement: automatic or directly under a chosen partner), click Dodaj do struktury (add to structure).
• Changes: Przenieś partnera (move partner – moves the whole branch) or Zmień sponsora (change sponsor). Every change goes to the history.

Step 7: codes, materials and an announcement (optional)

1. Zarządzaj kodami (manage codes) – create a discount code for a partner (discount %, scope, validity dates).
2. Marketing Materials – add banners, Stories and posts from the Media Library.
3. Komunikaty (announcements) – tick Pokazuj komunikat partnerom (show to partners), enter a title and text, click Zapisz komunikat (save). Partners see it in the Your Links tab.

Step 8: check it

1. Sign in as a partner, open My Account → Affiliates Program → Team and copy Your referral link.
2. Open the link in a private window, register a new account and place an order.
3. After the order status changes to Completed, commissions appear for the partner and the people above them, and the new person appears in their team.

Payouts

When a partner sends a payout request, you get an e-mail. In the Overview tab, in the Payout Requests table, set the status to In Process, and after the transfer to Completed.

• Licence: the plugin sends its name when it checks the key, so a key works only in the plugins it covers (one plugin, a bundle or All Access).
