Questions developers ask
Do I have to buy anything?
No. Developers do not need to buy plugins to earn commissions. An approved application is enough.
Who buys the licence – me or the client?
The client, via your link or with your discount code. The licence is theirs and you get the commission. Purchases on your own account earn no commission.
How long do you pay on renewals?
As long as the client renews and you are in the program. The client is assigned to you after the first purchase from your recommendation.
Can I test the plugins?
Every plugin has a free version. If you need a longer test on a client’s site, write to us and we will sort it out.
When do I get paid?
A commission can be paid out 30 days after the purchase (refund window). From €50 (PLN 200) you request a payout in the dashboard and receive the transfer within 14 days.
Do I need a registered business?
No, but most developers have one. Businesses issue an invoice; private individuals provide their tax details.
I am already a wpAsist customer. What about my rates?
Once your application is approved, your account gets the developer rates: 33% on purchases and renewals instead of 20%.
