Current version: 1.0.3 · Last updated: 2026-10-24 · Requires: WordPress 6.2+, WooCommerce 8.0+, PHP 7.4+ · Name in WordPress: Cart Share Links for WooCommerce · Plugin page ›

What the plugin does

One link that fills the customer’s cart with the products and quantities you choose. You prepare the offer in the dashboard, send the link by e-mail, chat or social media – the customer clicks and goes straight to payment.

What it does

A ready cart in one click

A link can hold any number of products – including specific variations (e.g. size, colour) – with a quantity for each. After a click the customer lands on the cart page with everything already added.

Result: the customer does not have to search for or add anything – from offer to order is a single click.

Links ready to copy from the list

The list of links shows the address of each link with a copy button. In a WPML store you pick a language next to it – the link opens the cart in that language, with translated products.

Result: an offer for a customer abroad takes seconds.

No clutter in Google

Links never appear in the site search, menus or the sitemap, and browsers and caches do not store them – every click always adds the current products.

Good to know

  • Opening a link replaces what the customer had in the cart – the cart contains only the products from the link.
  • Prices in the cart are always current, as in the store (the link stores products and quantities, not prices).
  • The plugin is compatible with HPOS and the WooCommerce block checkout.

Installation and first settings

Before you start

You need WordPress 6.2 or newer, WooCommerce 8.0+, PHP 7.4+ and an administrator account. Back up your store before installing any new plugin – most hosting panels do it with one button.

Step 1: download the plugin and the licence key

After your order (Pro, or the free 5-day Free version) you get an e-mail with your licence key and a Download button. The key and the file are always available in My account → Licences on wpasist.eu.

  1. Click Download and save cart-links-for-woocommerce.zip on your computer.
  2. Do not unzip the file – WordPress installs the plugin straight from the ZIP.

Safari on a Mac may unzip downloads automatically. If you see a folder instead of a ZIP file, compress it again (right-click → Compress) or turn off opening “safe” files after downloading in Safari.

Step 2: install and activate the plugin

  1. Log in to your WordPress dashboard (usually yourstore.com/wp-admin).
  2. Go to Plugins → Add New Plugin and click Upload Plugin.
  3. Choose cart-links-for-woocommerce.zip and click Install Now.
  4. When you see “Plugin installed successfully”, click Activate Plugin.

Result: the left menu now has a wpAsist item with this plugin and the Licences screen.

Step 3: activate the licence

  1. Go to wpAsist → Licences.
  2. Paste the key from the e-mail next to this plugin and click Activate licence.
  3. The status changes to Active until … (the end date of your licence).

Without an active licence a cart link takes the customer to the home page and adds nothing. Your saved links stay and work again once the key is active.

The key works on one domain. If you move the store to another address, change it yourself in My account → Licences → Change domain on wpasist.eu. New versions arrive in the dashboard like any WordPress update (Dashboard → Updates) while the licence is active – your settings are kept.

Step 4: create your first link

Go to wpAsist → Cart Links and click Add new.

  1. Enter a title – only you see it, e.g. “Starter kit for company X”.
  2. In the Products in the cart box, type a few letters of the name, SKU or ID in Product and choose the product (or a specific variation) from the list.
  3. Enter the number of items in Quantity.
  4. Add more products with Add product; remove a row with the cross.
  5. Click Publish.

Result: the Link for the customer section shows the ready address, e.g. yourstore.com/cart-kit/starter-kit/.

Step 5: copy and send the link

  1. Go to wpAsist → Cart Links – the Link column shows the address of each link.
  2. In a multilingual store choose the customer’s language next to it (e.g. DE).
  3. Click the copy icon – a ✓ appears and the link is in your clipboard.
  4. Paste it into an e-mail, a chat message or a post.

Step 6: test the link

Open the copied link in a private browser window – you should land on the cart page with the products and quantities from the link.

Troubleshooting

Symptom What to do
The link opens the home page Check the licence status in wpAsist → Licences.
The link opens the shop and the cart is empty The link has no products saved or the products were deleted – open the link in the dashboard and add products.
One of the products is missing The product is not available (out of stock, draft) – WooCommerce will not add it to the cart.
“Page not found” after clicking Go to Settings → Permalinks and click Save Changes (refreshes the addresses).

More about the partner program

Hi, I’m Przemek. I started out in 2009 with affiliate programs, and a year later I made it onto GVO’s list of top-selling partners worldwide. I was also selling my own online courses back when it wasn’t trendy yet.

Since 2014 I’ve been building websites and online stores for clients: setting up analytics, improving conversions, connecting systems and seeing what really sells. I’ve also seen many stores that wouldn’t be where they are today without extra features. That’s why, since 2019, I’ve been writing my own WooCommerce plugins for my clients’ needs. That’s how wpAsist was born: plugins built from the real needs of real stores.

Missing something? Get in touch. My best plugins started with a client’s question. I can also adapt any plugin to your industry.
